Design Trend: New York Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week has come and gone leaving handfuls of runway looks and street style inspiration to mull over. Designers made a statement with a softer palette, textural intrigue by way of tassels, fringe & fur and black & white through various textures, patterns, and silhouettes.
We saw shirt dresses, yellow, gingham, kimono style trench coats, head to toe white (it’s become less about the rules of when you can wear all-white; it’s about how you wear it), the transition from sky-high heels to flats, slides and sneakers, one shoulder cuts on tops and dresses, polo style shirts and military greens.
Fashion trends cross over into interiors and we’ve found some great examples of how to bring these fashions home.
