2015 Color of the Year: Guilford Green

2015 Color of the Year: Guilford Green

INTRODUCING COLOR TRENDS 2015 AND THE COLOR OF THE YEAR….

We tend to think of neutral paint colors as shades of beige, white or grey. However, Benjamin Moore just announced their official “color of the year” for 2015, and it’s a surprisingly soft, neutral shade that we feel works well with many deeper, bolder colors.  This “silvery shade of sage” is going to be a fantastic consideration as a new neutral.

The color that ties things together–
GUILFORD GREEN. OUR COLOR OF THE YEAR.
A neutral that’s natural. A silvery green that works with, well, everything. No worries. No second thoughts. Just a brush, dipped in a can, whooshed on a wall, and a whole lot of happily ever after.
–Ellen O’Neill, Creative Director, Benjamin Moore

This colour is part of the Historic Colour Collection. A collection of 174 time-honored hues comprises our most popular palette. Steeped in tradition, the refined, elegant colours of the Historical Collection deliver timeless colour that can be used in traditional as well as contemporary spaces. Inspired by the documented colours found in 18th- and 19th-century architecture, these classic, inviting tones continue to serve us well today.
